One day, Wade decided to dig a well in his field. He started digging a hole. He dug and dug, but even when he was 15 feet down, the earth was still dry. He began to wonder whether he had chosen the right spot, but he kept going anyway. At 20 feet, the soil was still dry. Discouraged, he decided to try another place.
He dug again, and the same thing happened. This time, he reached 25 feet before deciding to stop and move elsewhere.
After a month, his field was full of holes—but there was still no well.
You have a better chance of success if you stick to your original idea. It may take persistence and more effort, but eventually you’ll get there. Your mind will play tricks on you, but you must learn to ignore them. Just keep digging.
